Job Summary
Medical Assistant I at ChristianaCare Hope Center greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment. Manages EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties and troubleshooting video visits to support patient portal access. Requires High School Diploma or GED and either completion of a Medical Assistant program or current MA certification from a national accrediting body (NCCA/ANSI).
