Job Summary
Support reception and clinical operations by floating between front and back office roles to fill staffing shortages as assigned. Monitor patient scheduling to maximize access, manage check-in/out processes including collections and deposits, and troubleshoot problems to resolve patient issues. Maintain proficiency in standard procedures while ensuring the health center meets TJC, HRSA, PCMH, HEDIS, UDS, and CHDP quality guidelines. Follow standard work procedures and resolve operational challenges under the direction of the Director of Operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Card issued through the American Heart Association
- California Driver's license
- Valid auto insurance
- Minimum two years of medical office experience in health care outpatient clinic setting
- Knowledge of billing codes and programs
- Knowledge of HIPAA and Medical Record laws and regulations
- Ability to adhere to CSV's employee health/immunization requirements or provide a valid approved exemption request
