Maintain patient flow by assisting and promoting the delivery of health care while performing technical procedures and clinically oriented activities. Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient operations and support customer satisfaction under management and physician leadership. Complete a competency-based training program or possess six months of relevant experience, including Basic Life Support certification within 30 days. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a competency-based Medical Assistant training program
- 6 months experience within the last 7 years as one of the following: LPN, EMT, ER Tech, or paramedic
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association within 30 days
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross within 30 days
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Working in a physician practice or healthcare setting
- May consider a nursing student from an accredited registered or licensed practice nurse program after a clinical course of study has begun
- CRT-Medical Assistant certification (CMA - AAMA, RMA - AMT, ARMA - ARMA, NCMA - NCCT, CCMA - NHA, NRCMA - NAHP) within 90 days for Medical Assistant II and III level positions
