Medical Assistant I

Perform vital signs, EKGs, and venipunctures while assisting with patient triage, specimen collections, and routine examinations. Manage medical records by documenting pertinent information, updating logs, and coordinating referrals. Support nursing staff by stocking supplies, checking refrigeration temperatures, ordering medications, and facilitating related services with strict adherence to infection control and patient confidentiality. Call patients and mail correspondence as needed to ensure continuity of care.
