Job Summary
Provide hands-on clinical support in a hospital pre-op clinic: room patients, obtain vital signs, document medical histories, complete Epic referral processes by reviewing daily reports and updates on discharged patients, address hospital calls while in the office, and assist with death certificate requests, delivering compassionate, patient-centered service. Requires Medical Assistant training and certification (NHA or AAMA) and CPR certification; proficient in Microsoft Outlook, practice management systems, and electronic medical records. CMA/RMA preferred; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant Training from an Accredited School
- Certification from NHA or AAMA or completed within 6 months of hire date
- CPR Certification required and maintained
