Job Summary
Greet patients in person or by phone, answer inquiries, and direct them to examining rooms. Verify patient information by interviewing them, reviewing medical history, and confirming visit purposes. Support care delivery by assisting providers during exams, preparing and testing laboratory specimens, sterilizing instruments, and dispensing prescriptions. Educate patients on medication and instructions, complete examination and treatment records, and manage supply inventory and equipment maintenance. Maintain confidentiality of patient care information. Work independently in a fast-paced environment with a competitive hourly rate of $22.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification such as CMA or RMA
- Bachelor's degree in Biology
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
- Five (5) years of continuous experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Schedule Monday: 7:45am-4:30pm
- Schedule Tuesday: 7:45am-4:30pm
- Schedule Wednesday: 11:00am-6:30pm
- Schedule Thursday: 7:45am-4:30pm
- Schedule Friday: 7:45am-4:30pm
- Saturday (1-2 per month): 8:00 - 12:00PM
Desired Qualifications

- Experience with Epic EMR
