Job Summary
Conduct non-invasive medical procedures including vital signs and patient preparation, while maintaining exam rooms and performing patient intake duties such as reporting test results and phone triage. Review daily logs, pre-register patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and manage clinic communications to ensure efficient operations. Monitor supply inventory, educate patients on medications and diets, and maintain organized workloads with prompt service to providers and visitors. Requires BCLS certification and U.S. work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for an employer
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques
- Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and medical record systems
- Understanding of medical terminology and infection control practices
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred
