Medical Assistant, Holden Family Medicine, 40 Hours, Days

Under the direction of the appropriate licensed clinician, the Medical Assistant II (MA II) provides clinical care and performs clerical duties to support office/clinic functions. Will receive workplace education and training to assist providers and the healthcare team in the care of patients. Major responsibilities include escorting patients to examination rooms and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, height, weight), performing EKGs, phlebotomy, Point of Care tests, administering non-intravenous injections as directed, assisting with routine physical examinations, and reviewing laboratory results to promptly inform physicians. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS/HS certification, and MA credential per Massachusetts requirements. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods. A $3000 sign-on bonus may be available.
