Job Summary
Conduct general nursing duties, including suture/staple removal, wound care, and dressing changes. Schedule and precert MRIs, lab work, procedures, and surgeries while locating necessary imaging and test results. Perform sterile field applications, cast and splint removal, and medication preparation. Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies, and power up computers. Assist with verifying pre-op labs, scheduling surgery clearances, and filling out disability, return-to-work, and insurance forms. Manage patient communications, including answering calls, sending reminders, and communicating test results. Provide patient education and escort patients to exam rooms. Work locally to satellite offices as schedule requires.
Required Qualifications
- HS/GED
- ROT or CCMA certification required by first 90 days of employment
- Minimum one-year full-time clinical experience in healthcare
