Job Summary
Collect vital signs, patient history, and specimens while performing basic laboratory tests and administering injections and medications as directed by the provider. Manage administrative duties including ordering supplies, updating medical records, obtaining referrals, and scheduling appointments. Requires high school graduation, CPR certification, and successful completion of HR-106 clearances within 90 days of employment. Full-time daylight hours Monday through Friday with no weekends or major holidays. A hiring bonus of up to $1,000 is available for full-time Medical Assistants.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
- Computer experience
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant diploma or degree program
- Minimum of one year medical assisting experience
- Proficient in venipuncture
