Job Summary
Collect vital signs, patient history, and specimens while performing basic laboratory tests, administering injections and medications as directed by the provider, and managing clinical tasks. Handle administrative duties including ordering supplies, updating and maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals and authorizations, and scheduling appointments. Requires high school graduation, CPR certification, and successful completion of HR-106 clearances within 90 days, with computer experience. Preferred qualifications include a medical assistant diploma, one year of experience, and venipuncture proficiency. Daylight hours Monday through Friday at HV Chippewa Internal Medicine, with a hiring bonus available for full-time candidates.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
- Computer experience
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant diploma or degree program
- Minimum of one year medical assisting experience
- Proficient in venipuncture
