Job Summary
Deliver safe, uncomplicated clinical services and tasks under the continuous supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Provide clinical and non-clinical information to facilitate the visit process while maintaining sterility and cleanliness of the environment. Manage supplies, equipment, and instruments, and support necessary clerical functions. Requires current Medical Assistant certification, CPR training within 45 days, and a graduate degree from an accredited allied health program. One to two years of related healthcare experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration/certification as a Medical Assistant
- CPR training
- Graduate of an approved accredited allied health program or clinical program
- Record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing
Desired Qualifications
- Higher level clinical certification (LPN, RN, or higher)
- Military medical experience
- One to two years of experience in a related healthcare field
