Job Summary
Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients within a multidisciplinary team structure. Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in the medical office setting by performing a variety of delegated patient care duties. Maintain a full-time, days 4x10 schedule from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. This role requires American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification and specific physical abilities, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working above or below shoulder level. Kingman Regional Medical Center is the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in Mohave County, recognized for clinical excellence and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Has attended a medical assistant training program accredited by one of the following: The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
- Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following: National Healthcareer Association: CCMA, American Medical Technologist: RMA, American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA, National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA, American Medical Certification Association: CMAC
