Prepare exam and treatment rooms with instruments and supplies, ensuring all areas are cleaned and stocked at the end of the workday. Review patient history, medications, and procedure understanding to make notes in EMA, while consistently completing MIPS information and checking medication expiration dates. Assist providers during surgical procedures such as excisions and Mohs surgery, and support the front desk by answering phones and scheduling patients. Process prescription refills with proper authorization, maintain accurate pathology and culture logs, and keep biopsy books and pathology reports up to date. Perform spore testing on the autoclave following scheduled maintenance.
