Job Summary
Prepare exam and treatment rooms, clean and stock spaces, and ensure all rooms are ready at the end of the day. Review patient history, visit reasons, medications, and procedure understanding while documenting in EMA, and complete MIPS information accurately. Assist with scheduling tests and treatments, support providers during surgical procedures like excisions and Mohs surgery, and manage pathology logs and culture records. Answer phones, schedule patients, and assist front desk staff with reception needs. Check medication expiration dates, process prescription refills, and maintain biopsy books and pathology reports. This role requires substantial multitasking to ensure exceptional patient service and comfort during visits.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service skills or a patient-centered mindset
- Previous Dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics experience
- Knowledgeable with insurance carriers (i.e., Medicare, commercial, HMO)
- EClinicalWorks, EMA, or other EMR software
- COVID-19 primary series vaccination
- Eligibility to work in the United States (E-Verify)
