Medical Assistant

Prepare exam and treatment rooms, clean and stock spaces, and ensure MIPS information is accurately completed in medical records. Review patient history, medications, and procedures to make notes in EMA, then assist providers during surgical procedures like excisions and Mohs surgery. Manage scheduling, answer phones, and support the front desk while processing prescription refills and checking medication expiration dates. Maintain accurate records for pathology, culture logs, biopsy books, and slides. Perform spore testing on the autoclave and follow scheduled maintenance.
