Medical Assistant

Prepare exam and treatment rooms, review patient history and medications, and document notes in EMA while ensuring MIPS information is accurate. Assist providers during surgical procedures like excisions and Mohs surgery, manage scheduling for tests and treatments, and support the front desk with phone answers and patient scheduling. Clean and stock rooms, perform spore testing on the autoclave, check medication expiration dates, and maintain accurate records of biopsy books, slides, and pathology results. Process prescription refills and manage the pathology and culture log. This role requires substantial multitasking and task management to ensure timely completion of all responsibilities.
