Medical Assistant

Prepare exam and treatment rooms with instruments and supplies, ensuring all areas are cleaned and stocked daily. Review patient history, medications, and procedure understanding while documenting in EMA, and ensure MIPS information is accurately completed. Assist providers during surgical procedures like excisions and Mohs surgery, while managing scheduling for patient tests and treatments. Support the front desk by answering phones and coordinating reception assistance. Perform spore testing on the autoclave, check medication expiration dates, and maintain records for biopsy books and pathology reports. Process prescription refills and manage the pathology and culture log. This role requires substantial multitasking to ensure timely completion of all responsibilities.
