Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed at Northwell-GoHealth Urgent Care for examination/treatment support, patient registration, vital signs, specimen handling, and front-desk duties in an urgent care setting across NYC/Long Island. Responsibilities include greeting patients, interviewing, documenting medical history, measuring vitals, preparing exam rooms, processing insurance and co-pays, coordinating referrals, maintaining medical records, and performing point-of-care testing (e.g., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG). Requires strong communication, teamwork, proficiency with Word/Excel, and Basic Life Support (BLS) at hire. Hourly pay ranges from $18.50 to $27.25 with potential monthly incentive. Education requirements include a High School Diploma; Medical Assisting program preferred; phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
