Job Summary
Medical Assistant supports examination and treatment under an urgent care provider, handles patient registration, interviews patients, measures vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height), may draw blood and prepare specimens, and prepares exam rooms. Requires basic medical office duties, proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel, strong communication, detail orientation, and ability to manage front-desk tasks, insurance verification, scheduling, and patient flow. Role offers hourly pay and monthly incentive pay based on performance metrics. Certifications include BLS at hire. Location: Yorktown Heights, NY; full-time, in-person.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire
