Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric patient intake, obtain vitals, and administer screening tools including PHQ-9 and GAD-7. Prepare and score Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation sessions, manage IM/IV ketamine infusions, and administer Spravato® under REMS protocols. Reconcile medications, coordinate prior authorizations, and document controlled substance logs in the EHR. Monitor patient safety, manage recovery areas, and serve as the primary contact for scheduling and insurance verification. Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and participate in team huddles. Full-time, in-person role at Lighthouse Psychiatry in Gilbert, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or equivalent experience
- BLS certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy, and medical terminology
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, protocol-driven clinical environment
- IV certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years in psychiatry, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or specialty medical clinics
- Experience with psychiatric medications, controlled substances, and prior authorizations
- Exposure to TMS devices, IV therapy, ketamine infusions, or Spravato® REMS programs
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional communication
