Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current certification in CMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA/NRCMA/CCMA (or eligible and plan to attain within six months)
  • American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
  • Zero to two years’ experience in a relevant role
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience with electronic medical record (preferred)
  • Completion of accredited Medical Assistant training program (preferred)
  • Ambulatory care experience (preferred)
  • Ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Ability to assist with procedures such as ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, specimen collection
