Job Summary
Prepares the patient’s charts prior to the office visit, greets and escorts patients to exam rooms, conducts patient interviews and records vital signs, recognizes abnormal vitals and reports to physician, follows up on prescriptions and telehealth arrangements, manages patient flow and schedules, communicates with care team, ensures patient expectations are met, handles callbacks, maintains clinical supplies and safety, assists with remote connections for Telehealth, adheres to HIPAA and OSHA policies, disinfection and room maintenance, and performs other duties as assigned; offers competitive salary and benefits including Employee Health Insurance, dental, vision, life, and 401k.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; must be able to read, write and speak English
- 1-2 years of related experience in a medical setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Data entry skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively
- Must be able to comply with OSHA and HIPAA rules and regulations
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- CPR Certification preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- HIPAA Regulations familiarity
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Disinfection and infection control practices
- Telehealth support capability
