Job Summary
Assist the physician in surgical procedures, including site preparation, bandaging, wound care, and suture/staple removal. Prepare paperwork, obtain vital signs, and take clinical photographs while processing instruments and maintaining equipment. Sort hair grafts under microscopes, perform pre- and post-operative hair washes, and educate patients on procedure instructions. Manage inventory, order supplies, schedule visits, and maintain medical records in compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Submit to drug screens, adhere to HIPAA policies, and participate in required trainings. Full-time role with $18-24/hour; team focuses on safe, comprehensive hair restoration treatment.
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Appropriate vaccinations for healthcare workers
- Submit to a drug screen test prior to employment
- Maintain patient confidentiality & comply with HIPAA related policies
- Hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time
- Engaging in repetitive motions
- Professionalism in both appearance and demeanor
- Team player with a strong sense of integrity
- Works well under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- Medical assisting diploma/certification is preferred
- Experience working with a microscope is preferred
- Experience working in the medical field is preferred
