Medical Assistant - Future Focus Family Medicine

Medical Assistant sought to join the ASAS Health team for Future Focus Family Medicine. Responsibilities include preparing for patient visits by reviewing/updating records and coordinating with clinicians during face-to-face or Telehealth encounters; maintaining clean exam rooms and restocking supplies; taking vitals (weight, height, temperature, blood pressure) and collecting basic medical history; assisting physicians or mid-level providers during examinations; ensuring timely preparation of patients and communicating readiness to providers; handling patient flow, scheduling, and cross-department collaboration; adherence to infection control standards and HIPAA confidentiality; strong communication and diplomacy with patients and staff; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; Texas driver’s license preferred and ability to travel as required. Education: High school diploma or GED required; certification of Medical Assistant and CPR preferred with reimbursement up to $250 for certification-related expenses. The role requires flexibility, multi-tasking in a fast-moving environment, and willingness to cross-train within other departments.
