Job Summary
Medical Assistant at Schweiger Dermatology in Greenwich, CT. Responsibilities include assisting physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, recording prescribed treatments and medications, conducting room prep and post-care duties, managing patient flow, processing prior authorizations, stocking and inventory, and supporting clerical tasks. Requires healthcare experience and familiarity with EMR/patient scheduling systems; Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred. Open schedule Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays within 7am–7pm; full-time (30+ hours) with benefits. Strong communication and customer service skills essential to promote a professional, welcoming atmosphere and high-quality patient care in a dermatology setting.
Required Qualifications
- Previous healthcare experience is required
- Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
- Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
