Job Summary
Conduct clinical and clerical tasks in a dermatology setting, assisting physicians with medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures while managing patient flow and equipment checks. Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, and prior authorizations within EMR guidelines, and deliver pre- and post-care instructions. Perform daily inventory scans of retail products and medical supplies, alerting leadership to low stock levels, and stock equipment as requested. Attend in-house training and maintain a professional atmosphere to enhance patient service quality. Full-time role (30+ hours) Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, available for weekend coverage. Hourly pay range $19–$24.
Required Qualifications
- Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends
- Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent patient relation and customer services skills
Desired Qualifications
- Dermatology experience preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
