Job Summary
Perform the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a dermatology setting by assisting physicians in procedures, recording treatments, medications, and biopsies, and managing patient flow. Prepare rooms before and after patients, verify equipment functionality, and provide pre- and post-care instructions. Conduct daily scans of retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies, alerting leadership to low stock levels, while fulfilling inventory and stocking responsibilities as requested. Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities. Full-time schedule of 30+ hours Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays; availability for weekend coverage required. Previous healthcare experience is required, with national certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous healthcare experience
- Dermatology experience
- Nationally Certified Medical Assistant
- Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
- Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent patient relation and customer services skills
- Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends
- Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7am-7:30pm
- Full time, 30+ hours per week
