Job Summary
Teach Medical Assisting to a maximum of 24 students, delivering lectures and demonstrations from the Ross curriculum; responsibilities include classroom instruction for 4.5-hour sessions (5 mornings and 2 evenings per week), covering clinical and administrative skills, preparing and delivering lessons, and serving as a student mentor. Role is campus-based in Warren, MI, with responsibilities to maintain student records, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and ensure a positive student experience. Requires 3+ years of medical assisting experience with formal training and ability to obtain national certification; full-time schedule and use of Ross materials are required. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution
- Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant
- Individuals without a formal education must have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in the medical field and a national certification
- Must be able to teach full time schedule of 5 morning & 2 evening classes/week
