Job Summary
Medical Assistant in Rheumatology at Boulder Medical Center's Louisville clinic. Responsibilities include performing clinic administrative duties (answering calls, verifying patient information, check-in/out, scheduling and coordinating appointments), taking patient history and vital signs, assisting with examinations, maintaining confidentiality in EMR/manual systems, preparing examination rooms and stocking equipment, and documenting all patient encounters in the electronic medical record. Requires solid history-taking, computer, documentation, time-management, and organizational skills, plus strong communication with patients, providers, and staff. Education options include completion of Medical Assistant training; active certification/other health-background substitutions are acceptable. Hourly pay range is $18.91–$25.21, with 40-hour weeks, Monday–Friday, at Louisville, CO.
