Job Summary
Medical Assistant position in Paradise LL Primary Care located in Chico, CA. Under supervision of licensed clinicians, performs non-invasive, routine, technical support services, including setting up exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, performing venipunctures, audiometry and vision testing, and maintaining patient recall/log for labs, referrals and transfers. Early-care completion requirements include BLS certification; CMA/RMA preferred; vaccination requirements apply per AH policy; E-Verify participation noted.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience: Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AH policy: Required
- Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or CHDP certificate within six months of hire: Preferred
- Phlebotomy certificate: Preferred
