Job Summary
Triage patients, measure vitals, record chart information, and perform blood draws and venipuncture. Administer medications and immunizations under provider direction, set up procedures, and prepare treatment rooms. Check patients in and out, verify insurance, and collect payments. Requires graduation from a Medical Assistant or EMT program, active RMA/CMA designation, or six months of relevant experience, plus BLS certification. Full-time role with competitive pay, monthly incentives, and generous PTO accruing from day one.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or other relevant program
- Active Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant designation
- 6 months of experience in a relevant environment
- Licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification and 6 months of verifiable experience with Phlebotomy
- 1 year of verifiable experience in a role where phlebotomy is the primary function
- BLS certification
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA
Desired Qualifications
- Prior recent experience in a healthcare setting, such as an emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory clinic
