Job Summary
Medical Assistant in an urgent care setting to support medical providers, radiologic technologist, and patients. Responsibilities include patient registration, insurance verification, arranging appointments, coordinating provider referrals, assisting with patient examinations, performing point-of-care tests (flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG), maintaining medical records and charts, stocking supplies, facilitating daily operations, and ensuring smooth patient flow with a focus on quality care and a seamless patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- BLS certification required at time of hire
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
