Job Summary
Triage patients, measure vitals, and record chart information. Perform blood draws, venipuncture, specimen collection, and lab work completion. Administer medications and immunizations under provider direction. Set up procedures, prepare treatment rooms, and move patients between waiting and exam areas. Check patients in and out, verify insurance, and collect payments. Requires MA, EMT, or CNA graduation/certification with phlebotomy experience; BLS certification and Level II background clearance needed. Full-time role with competitive pay, monthly incentives, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or other relevant program
- Active Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant designation
- 6 months of experience in a relevant environment
- Licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification and 6 months of verifiable experience with Phlebotomy
- 1 year of verifiable experience in a role where phlebotomy is the primary function
- BLS certification
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA
Desired Qualifications
- Prior recent experience in a healthcare setting, such as an emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory clinic
