Job Summary
Triage patients, measure vitals, and record information on charts. Perform blood draws, venipuncture, specimen collection, and lab work completion. Administer medications and immunizations under provider direction while setting up procedures and preparing treatment rooms. Check patients in and out, verify insurance, and collect payments. Requires MA, EMT, Paramedic, or CNA program graduation; active RMA or CMA designation; or 6+ months relevant experience. BLS certification and Level II background screening with AHCA clearance mandatory. Full-time role with competitive pay, monthly incentives, and extensive PTO starting day one.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or other relevant program
- Active Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant designation
- 6 months of experience in a relevant environment
- Licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification and 6 months of verifiable experience with Phlebotomy
- 1 year of verifiable experience in a role where phlebotomy is the primary function
- BLS certification
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA
Desired Qualifications
- Prior recent experience in a healthcare setting, such as an emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory clinic
