Job Summary
Triage patients, measure vitals, and record chart information while performing blood draws, venipuncture, and specimen collection. Administer medications and immunizations under provider direction, set up procedures, and prepare treatment rooms. Manage patient flow by checking patients in and out, verifying insurance, and collecting payments. Requires graduation from a Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic program, or active RMA/CMA designation, plus BLS certification and Level II background screening clearance. Full-time employment with competitive pay, monthly incentives, and generous PTO starting on the first day.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or other relevant program
- Active Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant designation
- 6 months of experience in a relevant environment
- Licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification and 6 months of verifiable experience with Phlebotomy
- 1 year of verifiable experience in a role where phlebotomy is the primary function
- BLS certification
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA
Desired Qualifications
- Prior recent experience in a healthcare setting, such as an emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory clinic
