Medical Assistant - FT -McLeod Family Medicine - Kingstree

Assists the physician with direct patient care under supervision, performing triage, assessments, and procedures; prepares patients for provider visits and documents vital signs, history, and chief complaint. Manages chart prep and required documentation, conducts specialized tests (electrocardiography, pulmonary function testing, sleep studies, Holter monitoring) and administers medications as ordered. Schedules tests and referrals, communicates with patients via phone and MyChart, and conducts follow-up calls. Maintains exam rooms and equipment, ensures OSHA standards, and supports medical supply inventory. Promotes a constructive learning environment, participates in quality improvement projects, and projects a positive practice image. Requires Certified Medical Assistant credential and Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire.
