Job Summary
Provide clinical and front-office support as Medical Assistant in a dermatology practice. Duties include evaluating skin conditions, taking medical histories, documenting dermatologic symptoms, informing patients about treatments, assisting with non-intrusive medical procedures, educating patients on preventive skin care, screening patients and employees at entry, and maintaining accurate medical records and vital signs. Requires customer service experience, computer literate capabilities, CPR certification (preferred or obtainable within 4 weeks), and dermatology experience preferred; MA certificate/diploma from medical vocational program preferred. role supports a professional team delivering high-quality patient care in a dermatology and cosmetic surgery setting.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience required
- Must be computer literate
- CPR certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain within 4 weeks
- Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs
- At least one year of Dermatology experience preferred
- MA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program preferred
