Job Summary
Wash instruments in the Sterile Processing area, wrap and package supplies, sterilize tools, and assist nurses in pre- and post-surgical patient care. Turn over operating rooms between cases and support surgical teams as needed. This full-time role requires a Medical Assistant Training program completion, BLS certification, and instrument handling experience. We offer a team-oriented culture with a competitive salary for candidates with preferred PACU and outpatient surgery center experience.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Training program
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Excellent people and multi-tasking skills
- Experience in an outpatient surgery center preferred
- Experience with washing instruments preferred
- Experience with turning over operating rooms preferred
