Job Summary
Assist physicians with medical procedures in office; perform phlebotomy and laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting and maintenance. Requires at least one year of medical assistant experience in a clinic/physician’s office with preferred venipuncture skills; valid Florida driver’s license for travel to clinics; high school diploma or GED; BLS within 30 days of hire; background/drug/nicotine screening; vaccination requirements as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office with the ability to perform venipunctures preferred
- Valid Florida driver’s license for travel to clinics
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days)
- Background, drug, and nicotine screening
- Vaccinations, including influenza, as a condition of employment (as applicable)
