Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service to patients, address inquiries, and foster a welcoming environment. Perform vitals signs, take detailed histories of present illness, and handle prior authorizations for medications. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations. Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing and scanning documents while following HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality. Commute to at least three locations within the multi-location practice, with toll reimbursement for Riverdale travel. Two years of healthcare experience required, with a Medical Assisting course or relevant background preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Able to reliably commute to your scheduled location
- Must be able to commute to at least 2 of our other locations as needed
- Completion of Medical Assisting course preferred or relevant experience
- 2 years of previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent multitasking, organizational and organizational skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- The ideal candidate would be able to commute to at least 3 of our locations
- Physical Therapy or Pain Management a plus!
