Job Summary
Medical Assistant - Floater role with HopeHealth. Supports clinical team by assisting providers with evaluations, patient intake, vital signs, lab work, and medication refills; maintains patient flow and room turnover, prepares exam rooms, and handles data entry and chart preparation. Requires CMA or RMA certification, BLS, and at least two years of experience in a physician’s office; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Floater staffing pool means working at multiple locations as assigned, with travel/mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling from Monday to Saturday as described. No direct reports; emphasis on teamwork, compassionate patient care, and adherence to policies and procedures. Knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology, plus the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- National CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification
- BLS certification
- Two years of experience in a physician’s office
- Ability to take initiative and handle various tasks
- Knowledge of EMR systems
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
