Job Summary
Medical Assistant Floater who performs administrative and clinical duties across multiple clinic locations under physician direction, including taking vital signs, drawing blood, administering medications as directed, preparing patients for examination, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing and coding for insurance, and operating EHR and PMS systems. Travel between clinic sites is required. Must be bilingual in English/Spanish and capable of providing translation for providers; supports clinical duties such as exams, injections, lab tests, immunizations, and chart documentation, while maintaining patient flow and office operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- MA Medical Assistant Certificate or CCMA Certificate (Required)
- Two years’ experience
- Travel to different clinic locations
- Bilingual English/Spanish (Required)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong charting/documentation skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and ability to work in changing priorities
- Collaborative with multiple health professionals
- Emergency handling competence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- EHR- Electronic Health Record (Preferred)
- PMS- Practice Management System (Preferred)
- CPR, BCLS, OSHA, Phlebotomy, First Aid
