Medical Assistant - Float team (MA, CMA, EMT considered) - Per Diem

Medical Assistant on a Float team supporting physicians, PAs or NPs with clerical duties, patient flow, and patient care. Responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, escorting patients, maintaining efficient patient flow, preparing visit information, charting in the EHR, updating medication lists and allergies, entering orders in PMS/EHR, providing referrals, assuring universal safety precautions, stocking supplies, and facilitating transitions of care. The role requires demonstrating proficiency with equipment, coordinating schedules, and providing scribing services as needed. Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program, plus 0-1 year related experience and BLS within 30 days of hire. Travel to satellite offices may be required. English communication skills are required.
