Medical Assistant Float performing clinical, administrative, and clerical duties across multiple clinics in the Nashville, TN area; responsibilities include collecting clinical data, triaging, administering medications and vaccines, performing CLIA-waived tests, handling specimens, EHR documentation, patient scheduling, referrals, and patient education; requires CPR certification and MA training or experience; must be able to work in a clinic/float setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Possess a Degree, Diploma or Certificate of Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant training program (or accredited nursing program) or have a minimum of 1-year prior experience functioning as a Medical Assistant in a clinic/hospital setting, or completion of Medical Assistant type training in the armed services.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- If working as a float will need Valid TN Driver’s License and Proof of Valid Automotive Insurance
