Job Summary
Provide Medical Assistant coverage across assigned office locations based on staffing and patient care needs, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting intake information in the EMR. Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and clinical activities while preparing patient charts and ensuring imaging and testing are available for review. Facilitate communication between patients and providers, assist with prescriptions and forms, and organize medical records related to legal work to support timely report completion. Maintain exam rooms, manage administrative tasks, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety standards. Requires travel between Ridley Park, Glen Mills, Media, and Aston locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability and willingness to travel between assigned office locations as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program
- Medical Assistant certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous Medical Assistant experience in a physician practice or clinical setting
- Orthopedic experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to adapt to different office environments, providers, and workflows
