Job Summary
Medical Assistant Float Pool position serving in administrative front desk and clinical back-office duties across UNM Medical Group clinics (Athletics, Center for Life, Center for Reproductive Health, Truman Health Services, Grande Family Practice Clinic, Behavioral Health, School Based Health Clinic, Street Medicine). Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, triaging patients, and supporting quality initiative projects. Requires High school diploma or GED and Medical Assistant Program Graduate Certificate; certification as RMA/CCMA/CMA preferred; BLS certification. Full-time role at 40 hours/week with possible varying clinic assignments; benefits and sign-on bonus included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Program Graduate Certificate
- If applicable; current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- BLS certification
