Medical Assistant (float)

Medical Assistant (float) needed to support a dermatology practice across Carmel and satellite offices. Responsibilities include entering visit information into EMR, escorting patients to exam rooms, assisting providers with clinical procedures and surgeries, recording patient history, answering calls and voicemails, reviewing medical history and counseling patients, documenting laboratory and pathology results, processing prescription refills, initiating prior authorizations, and scheduling appointments including urgent visits. Travel to multiple locations outside the Indianapolis region is required. Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills are essential; willingness to assist in various aspects of clinical operations is expected.
