Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed at Fertility & Surgical Associates to support patient care in a fast-paced fertility practice. Responsibilities include assisting physicians and nurses with patient care, escorting patients to exam rooms, performing phlebotomy, cleaning and maintaining exam rooms and equipment, maintaining logs and records, managing supply inventory and ordering, performing clerical duties, and providing professional, compassionate support to all patients. Must be able to multi-task, work efficiently under pressure, problem-solve, and use good judgment in a clinical environment. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, graduation from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program, CPR Certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience (Women’s Health preferred). Willingness to travel between Santa Monica and Encino offices; occasional weekends/holidays; favorable familiarity with CDC, HIPAA, and OSHA compliance; strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program
- CPR Certification
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting (Women’s Health preferred)
