Medical Assistant - Family Practice

Assist the licensed health care professional in a Family Practice clinic by performing tasks such as rooming patients, monitoring patient flow, obtaining histories and vital signs, administering medications, assisting with examinations and procedures, maintaining and updating the electronic medical record, triaging calls, scheduling appointments, and facilitating patient education. Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with CPR certification within 3 months of hire; experience with EMR preferred; willingness to learn phlebotomy and point-of-care labs; strong communication and critical thinking skills; 40 hours/week, 8a-5p. Include responsibilities such as preparing documentation, obtaining vitals, ensuring informed consent, assisting with medications and procedures, and maintaining patient safety and accurate records.
